There are many (good) photography websites and magazines available. Burn Magazine and LensWork are two excellent resources in particular. LensWork just published its third and (sadly) final year of a project titles Seeing in Sixes. As you might have guessed, this project selects various sets of six images for publication. I submitted two entries. The published magazine is very high quality and I love to view images in a book format with proper paper printing. The color, feel, sheen, tones, and overall presentation is just so terrific to interact with.
The entries were not selected, unfortunately, but no matter. The exercise of selecting six images tied together was a beneficial practice of telling a short story with a few images.
Try to make your own Seeing in Sixes or threes, or fives project. See where it takes you. You will enjoy the process and perhaps stumble upon something wonderful. The whole may be greater than the sum of its parts.
The light is always right.
